Lovely Sunday chicken roasts! Staff are very friendly and service was fast. The roasts can be ordered as a smaller portion too. Great yorkshire puddings. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Vegetarian and vegan options offered on the menu.

We recently enjoyed a Sunday roast in the back garden of the Wych Elm. The staff were friendly and attentive and rushed to provide our dog with water and treats upon arrival. Thank you for being so thoughtful. The pub atmosphere was a relaxed Sunday vibe. The food was excellent - the medium rare roast beef advertised was actually cooked medium rare!. The portions were generous with a good selection of vegetables. The garden is well tended and maintained. There was plenty of shade even for a sunny afternoon. Thanks for a great Sunday afternoon experience.

I recently held event at “The Wych Elm” from start to finish it was an absolute dream . I booked some 6 months previous i got a confirmation email instantly. I organised my own entertainment. I had a meeting with Michael to discuss food arrangements for 80 people and took his advice. The date soon came round and what a night. Everyone commented on the quality of the food without exception. The bar staff were above and beyond all so polite and professional . Thank you to Michael , Patrick & all the team

Great local pub with a lovely garden at the back. Food was delicious and the friendly staff were very helpful and attentive. No surprise that they were runners up in the LOYA competition this year. Will definitely be going back. ...and here we are back again in April 2023. The food and service is still excellent and they have a piano, so my 98 year old mother-in-law couldn't resist having a go!

Lovely roast lunch on Sunday. The pork belly was delicious, not too fatty at all. Roast beef was tender and tasty. Generous portions. Very helpful and friendly staff. Booked after reading other positive reviews. Would definitely come back again.

The Wych Elm is our favourite local pub. The food is always spot-on, the staff are super friendly and always accommodate any specific needs or wishes. We love sitting in their wonderful pub garden just as much as in their cosy interior seating areas. A great spot for a nice family meal or a gathering with friends. The atmosphere is always very communal and friendly

Thank you for serving our family so beautifully and expertly last night. Relaxed, friendly and efficient despite being very busy. The head barman in particular was superb in every regard. I absolutely loved the egg/anchovy combination with my schnitzel. Due to the very sad illness of a close family member we really needed a quiet, sociable night out where we were served well. I knew the Wych Elm would be just the place. Thank you everyone involved behind the scenes too. It takes real teamwork and co-ordinated effort to make an operation like this run well time and time again. Looking forward to our staff/team night out with you in a couple of week's time.
